This Fall we are offering several ways to get your hands in some clay! Here are your options:
❋ Clay Class (3 hour session)
Learn the basics of hand building in this intimate group lesson for beginners (or anyone wanting a refresher). You will:
- Learn about pinch pot making, coil building and slab construction
- Make a small selection of objects of your choosing using above methods
- Decorate your pieces with underglaze
❋ Clay 201 (3 hour session)
This class is for repeat students who feel ready to work more independently! What to expect:
- No demo lesson at the beginning of class, so you can make the most of your studio time
- Learn new skills with continued instruction and guidance as you work
- Decorate with underglaze OR join the next Clay 201 session to experiment with glaze on your bisque fired work from the previous session
❋ Handbuilding + Glazing Course
(4 weeks - one 3 hour session per week)
This course is a handbuilding and glazing intensive for students of any skill level.
Week 1: Demo + make
Week 2: Demo + make
Week 3: Make
Week 4: GLAZE day
❋ Private Group + Individual Lessons

❋ 5 students max. per class
❋ Classes are geared towards adult learning
❋ All materials and firing fees included
❋ Work made in class will be ready for pickup within roughly 4-6 weeks
❋ Due to the unpredictable nature of clay (especially during drying and kiln firing process), items made in class have the potential to crack, break, blister or explode, etc. I will do my best to ensure your work survives the firing, but will not be held responsible for unfavourable results
❋ The studio is in a garage space - unfortunately there is no wheelchair accessible washroom available
❋ There are no makeup classes, refunds or exchanges
